When using scanners we where only scanning in prod. And the time to fix a finding in prod and then update the code and service and redeploy was to long.

Scanning first

with samma the goal is to use already used scanners like nikto and nmap. Wrap them into some python so they can be started. And format the output to json so it can be read with the tools a us.
And this was how Samma was started .
